Still amazes me that they don't swap the grid slots around because P2 always gets the jump on P1 on race day in recent years 2021, 2022, 2023 just seems to have more grip off the line.
Looking at replays from his pole lap and comparing with other onboard footage from this year, this is purely visual feeling.
so, it was still and improvement given how much grip a tire set loses on such demanding track as COTA after first push lap.
