isn't the first point factually incorrect ? Hamilton won from P20 in 2021.
Lewis won at this track in 2021 starting the sprint from 20th. But the sprint result set the GP grid, so he didn't start the GP from 20th.

True, he recovered a lot on the sprint.

Max was the only driver jumping the curb at Juncao. :wtf:

That's race intelligence (and of course mega bravery&skill to take so much kerb in the wet). A good launch from T12 means proper speed buildup for T1 overtake. This is why he got close enough to execute passes in T1 without DRS. He struggled to overtake LeClerc, because given similar DF levels, the Ferrari is simply much more aero-efficient and has greater straightline speed.
Or... As Max himself said, he struggled because Leclerc is actually pretty decent in the rain and was also the only driver to defend his place.

Btw Horner should start applying pressure to FIA to don't make Herbert steward ever again.

Not because of his decisions, but how he present himself in the media. If FIA is so aware about language and stuff like that, they should be also sensitive about these kind of issues.
It is unacceptable for a steward to talk like that, and FIA should make it very clear that there is no place for bias. The very least they should present a statement about Herbert.
What happened?

Half the fine for swearing for Norris and Russell running the red light while Stroll was in he gravel pit with potentially marshalls in harms way. What a joke. Anyone think Max would have gotten 5k and a reprimand from Herbert and the gang if it was him...? He got 2 penalty points on his license for 0.63 below VSC delta. Which one is more dangerous? And Lando effectively made the race one lap shorter, to his own benefit when he was leading.

The WDC has been sewn up for a while tbh- Max secured it with some great second places and podiums even when McLaren had the marginally faster package.

Was always a mega hill to climb for Lando and it’s only the media and Liberty hyping this as a title battle.

Max for me has shown he’s got the edge and deserves the title- Lando will learn a lot from his year at the sharp end this year and next season should be a cracker!
it wasnt hype Norris is driving the fastest car on the grid.max has gone 9 races without a victory and redbull has since lost their lead in constructors.if these trend continue redbull will have a problem next year.so redbull need to fix their car because they are behind ferrari too.a motivated Lewis could be a problem

I don't think Red Bull had any particular breakthrough this weekend, they just found the sweetspot in the rain (90% of this sweetspot being Max Verstappen), plus they didn't have to compromise between dry and wet sessions, maybe this helped them more than other.

I don't have high expectations for the remaining races, maybe with a bit of luck we can fight for a podium in Vegas (depending on how much McLaren will be hampered by not having their "special" rear wing, and Ferrari by cold temperatures) and Qatar; maybe there will be some more upgrades which can help.

Could be nice to seal the title in Vegas, also because during Qatar GP I'll be traveling and not able to follow :D

There cannot be any doubts both Mclaren and Ferrari are faster cars. You can't just suddenly lose such advantage they have had for months, speaking about Mclaren in particular.

Also being third in the WCC we get more wind tunnel time. A good thing for 2025.

Final 2 races have 60p available for each driver, so Max needs to finish ahead of Norris or lose no more than 2p. With fresh PU and better feel with the car than Monza, I think he'll be on pole or close to pole and he'll be able to defend well I imagine.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Overall it is now 86points, with 3 points for fastest lap, that you can mostly take from the others if needed. So realistically 83 points to take for Lando. So Max would need 20 points in the last three races...there is not much to go wrong, right?

Not in Vegas. RB seem to be the draggiest out of the top 4 teams now, without a proper low DF wing also. Also, we need to see if this good tyre wear in Brazil is sustainable or just a one off, like it was in the COTA sprint. Max will clinch it in Qatar. Vegas will be a Leclerc or Norris pole and an interesting race.

After that sh!tty Q for Max yesterday, I had a feeling the race will turn out to be one sided and in his favour. It happened many times before and it happened again. So I'm gonna stick with my feeling for Vegas

Strongly disagree about RB20 drag, on fairly equal wing level Max had a +2kmh advantage in SQ3. In Monza they were also equal on Top Speed even with McLaren's illegal rear wing. Tyre warm up will be crucial for Vegas Q and this is where RB20 seems to be better than even McL38, let alone Ferrari
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

With this car every time it's like shooting in the dark, but I would not be pessimistic about Vegas too. To clinch the title there, Max does not need to win the race, "only" to outscore Lando (or take each other out of the race  ), I think that with Ferrari's problem to get temperatures into tyres and McLaren without their "special" wing it can be doable, he can have a good quali and then defend in the race.

You can not tell anything about Vegas. It was resurfaced just for the race last year. Now there was traffic for one year with trucks on this tarmac. I fear it will be super bumpy compared to last year and the grip level is completely unknown.
