They show a trend, and trend unfortunately is repeating.

I will do a bit more analysis but having a quick look, it looks like Ferrari is conducting there testing as a Full factorial DOE.
their runs seems structured as a Taguchi Orthogonal array with multiple centre points.

basically they are assessing variables split into various fuel level runs with the length of run kept as a constant. It looks like in the morning they start off with a full tank, then gradually work that down to 1/2 - 1/4 tank by running multiple 10 lap runs. In the afternoons they seem to do multiple runs at the half point mark (centre points)

I will sift through their run data from the last couple of days to see if I can confirm this pattern.

Data? Do you have laptimes?

Trying and hoping to get reliable timing data soon, I don't know why it has to be such a mission :D

There used to be some Russian chap running a very informative live lap count / lap time and status site, what happened to him & his site?

He is still not around, just like the last time that was asked, and the time before that.
Wasnt around last year either.

Painting a picture for your benefit.

Car A is consistently 10km/h quicker than Car B.
Yet Car B is consistently 0.5 seconds quicker than Car A.

Testing lap times so relevant indeed.

They do when there's a strong precedence set from the year before.

What precedent are you attempting to concoct?

Renault is slower this year than last?
Do you know gear ratios?
Aero package?
Testing objectives?

Yet here we are at the second test and you are purveyor of all things unknown to the rest of us.
How do you do it, Juzh?
