I forgot, but what happened last year? Did Hamilton lose the start?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Rosberg was fastest all weekend, while hamilton looked nervous in the car. In q3 he managed 1 good lap to grap pole, but then got jumped by niko at the start and left behind. He then crossed the white line on pit exit and got added 5s to his race (or was it drive trough). Didn't make any difference in the end.

Okay, thanks! Nico has gone well in 2014 too, so I'm going to predict another hard and difficult weekend for Hamilton fans. Happy to be surprised though. In any case, I'm just praying for a genuine race between the two, not hampered by strategy or a stuffed up start or something.

Will be interesting to see how close the rest are too.

Will also be interesting to see whether ferrari has gone forwards or backwards. 0.4s difference last year in Q3.

It won't be like the last one, Ferrari should be close but if you thought Baku was boring think again. Last year's was forgettable, Hamilton blamed the clutch for the bad start, there's a surprise ;-). It should be a good track for Williams too so maybe RB fight.

same as last year, Mercedes AMG will fight against Willams drivers for pole, but in race Merc will definately win (if they don't crash each other again) and vettel for 3rd place.

One of my favourite tracks, its great to see that it wasn´t ruined by Tilke.

Pole for Hamilton but victory for Rosberg who usually is strong here. He has also better starts so I think he will overtake Hamilton.

Vettel third and making a great start to overtake Hamilton, so we see an spectacular battle between both.

Then a battle between Kimi and the two Williams.

Pole:

1. Hamilton
2. Rosberg
3. Vettel
4. Bottas
5. Massa
6. Kimi
7. Ricciardo
8. Perez
9. Hulkenberg
10. Verstappen

Race:

1. Rosberg
2. Hamilton
3. Vettel
4. Massa
5. Kimi
6. Perez
7. Bottas
8. Hulkenberg
9. Ricciardo
10. Sainz

Williams should do well here, I might have a punt on Massa for a podium.

I still hope for a genuine Rosberg - Hamilton battle like we saw in 2014 Bahrain for example. We didn't see that in 2015. Somehow there is always something preventing a fight. Like one driver to have technical issue's, one gets pushed off track and resumes ten places behind, one just cannot overtake, "Barcelona" or " Monaco"

How many equal drivers and cars do we need for a nice show?

Thanks again Red Bull for being the Benchmark F1 team. Two F1 teams, best young driver program in history and then you bring back a great European F1 track.

Well done...

Yeah, I think this is Ferrari's best chance of pole so far this year. It's similar to Canada but Ferrari were closer here last year and Marchionne alluded to the engine actually not being completely fixed until Austria - so there's more performance than Canada.

I think the gap in Baku had a lot to do with the length of the lap and Mercedes advantage with harvesting and deployment (remember that Spa was one of Ferrari's weakest points relative to Mercedes powered cars), so this won't be an issue at another short lap circuit.

I'm going to optimistically say Vettel for pole and win.
