I do normal things on a day off - Kubica
With the Hungarian Grand Prix contested, Formula One enters a three-week summer break. BMW Sauber F1 Team driver Robert Kubica reveals how he spends his leisure time. Despite being permanently in the limelight, Formula One ace Robert Kubica finds the time for the activities he enjoys. "I'm a normal person and I do normal things when I have a day off," says the Pole.
"Of course I do sports. I go running, cycling, karting and I also like to go bowling. It is a mixture that keeps me fit," Robert Kubica explains. Obviously, his priorities on a race weekend are slightly different. "On race Sunday, I don't do any special training," he admits. "It is very important to focus on the race, to be fully concentrated on the right moment."
When he isn't racing or testing, however, Robert's world resembles that of a normal 23-year-old. He says: "As mentioned before, I do some sports and I like to see friends. We go karting, bowling or play snooker or cook together. When I'm alone, I like surfing the World Wide Web and playing computer games. As I said, I'm very normal."
