Williams set to direct main focus on 2009 project
After the team began with a highly promising podium finish in the season opener in Australia, courtesy of Nico Rosberg, the British based team has lost its momentum and currently finds itself in a slump. Where the team is currently tied at 17 points with Toro Rosso.
Here's what Frank Williams had to say about the matter when confronted by our colleagues at 'autosport', "We recognise that this year's car is almost as developed as we can successfully do it, short of a major revamp of all the aerodynamics and next year's car is the one where we pin our hopes."
Williams later added, "There are one or two little bits for the remaining races but essentially our main focus is on next year's car because it is almost a fresh start for everybody with the aero rules. We started on that quite a long time ago and we will see how it works for us."
