We strongly support a budget cap - Williams

With the recent regulation changes made in effort to reduce the costs of competing in Formula One, there are key figures of the sport who also support a team budget cap, one of them being Sir Frank Williams. Williams runs the oldest independant team on the grid, and believes that a limit on team spending would benefit the sport as it levels the playing field against the manufacturers.
Williams said to British newspaper 'The Times'; "We’ve raised this issue several times and will take the opportunity to do so again. We’d also strongly support a budget cap, introduced gradually, if it could be properly policed."
