Ferrari to launch F2009 on 12 January
While earlier reports from 'Gazzetta dello Sport' suggested a launch half January, even hinting at 15 January, Ferrari have now confirmed the F2009 launch on 12 January, followed immediately by a shakedown by Felipe Massa on the team's own Fiorano circuit.
Ferrari will therefore be the first team to launch its 2009 competitor, although it is expected that the new car will not yet conform to the 2009 race regulations. The name of the car is also still uncertain but F2009 is likely to be its designation.
