No more negotiations with STR for Sato
Talks of a possible reserve seat with the Scuderia Toro Rosso have ended, Takuma Sato shared on his personal website. While Sato tested with the Faenza based team several times during the winter, a deal was never accomplished and the Japanese driver will once again have to search for a F1 drive.
Sato shared the news on his site: "I am no longer in negotiation with the Toro Rosso or Red Bull teams about their third driver positions."
"I am very disappointed that we were not able to come to an agreement with them, but you never know what is around the corner," he added optimistically.
