Barrichello flies as Barcelona test ends
Rubens Barrichello has topped the timesheets today and put in the best time of the week with 1:18.926, improving the best times set during qualifying last year. At the same time, Brawn GP is confirming its outright pace and may well start to bring up fear with some of the competing teams.
Fernando Alonso was less fortunate as his Renault engine blew up around noon, denoting him to some pitwalks in the afternoon. It was only in the last couple of minutes that the Spaniard came out again to please his fans.
