Schumacher to increase involvement with Ferrari race team

Former race driver with the Scuderia Ferrari, Michael Schumacher is to have an increased involvement within the Scuderia's trackside operations. Schumacher retired in 2006, but has been active with the Italian squad via a team advisor role.

Speaking to Germany's 'Bild' magazine for the seven time World Champion was his Manager, Wili Webber: "During the last two seasons it was not so important for Michael to be so involved at every race."

"With the many rule changes this year, he can help the engineers make the car better; the key is communicating with the engineers - they will evaluate the data, and Michael's experience is extremely important."
