BGP001 makes the rest look like amateurs - Williams

As a former employee of his, Sir Frank Williams is very proud of what Ross Brawn has achieved in Formula One. With his most recent venture being the Brawn GP Formula One team, and their 2009 contender the BGP001, which topped the time sheets almost on its first track outing late in the pre-season test sessions.

Williams praised his fellow countryman when speaking to the 'Daily Express': "Ross started to work for us as a junior in the little wind tunnel; he just made his own career and pulled himself up by his bootstraps, and now has great knowledge from his time at Ferrari."

"It is no accident that their new car is absurdly superior - they are making the rest of us look like amateurs. In Australia they will disappear on the basis of what we have seen in testing. I just hope we can be up there, too," he added optimistically.
