Just like thousands of motorsport fans, F1technical is present at the fifth edition of the Bavaria City Racing event in Rotterdam. The press conference with the organisers and former F1 driver David Coulthard has just finished and everybody is now ready for the action in the streets of the Dutch city.

During the press conference, former Red Bull driver David Coulthard and WRC driver Jari-Matti Latvala answered the questions of the gathered press. Renault F1 team driver Fernando Alonso and demonstration driver Adam Khan, who will come in action later today, could not attend the press conference due to the appeal tomorrow involving the exclusion of the French team for the European Grand Prix in Valencia.

Jari-Matti Latvala immediately agreed to come to Rotterdam for the event when he saw footage of last year's edition. The Rally driver said: "Not everybody has the chance to travel to a Formula One race or World Rally Championship race and so this is a great opportunity for the fans to see the action from nearby. We'll try to have some fun this afternoon."

"I'm not here to see the cars, I'm here to drink beer and see the pretty Dutch girls," joked David Coulthard. "I think it's a big honour to be here and it's very nice to hang out with drivers from other race classes. I believe that there will be thousands of people here today, we'll try to put on a good show and I'll try to talk to each of the fans in person," the funny Scot added.
