Super Aguri missing from 2006 entry list
The official entry list for the 2006 FIA Formula One World Championship was published on Thursday and the much-talked-about 11th team, Super Aguri, was conspicuous by its absence, despite having lodged an application.
Other than that, the entry list contained few surprises. BAR become Honda Racing, Jordan become MF1 Racing, Sauber become BMW Sauber and Minardi become Scuderia Toro Rosso.
Tiago Monteiro is listed as the lead driver for MF1, despite the Midland-owned team having made no official announcement concerning his signing. Red Bull Racing have yet to reveal David Coulthard’s team mate and the identity of both Toro Rosso drivers remains unconfirmed.
