FOM boss Bernie Ecclestone has come out to defend his compatriot Lewis Hamilton who was heavily criticized for his aggressive behavior throughout the Chinese GP this past weekend. Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel received reprimands for their side to side race down the narrow pitlane, while other controversial actions by Hamilton were waved off.

"What are they talking about? Isn't this sport all about racing?" Ecclestone explained to the 'Mirror'. "I thought Lewis had a fantastic race. He drove really well and they should stop complaining and get on with the racing.

"I loved watching his performance in Sepang. I bet the fans did too. It was a whole lot of moaning about nothing," he added.
