Fiorio hails Alonso's contributions at Ferrari
Former Ferrari Sporting Director Cesare Fiorio has hailed Fernando Alonso's victory at the inaugural Korean GP this past weekend, saying that the Spaniard has made all the difference in the team and has motivated them even more to battle the quicker Red Bulls.
"I would say that Fernando is the only one who has always believed, even in the darkest moments," began Fiorio in an interview with 'Radio Anch’io Sport'. "Now he has conveyed that confidence to the team and everyone has done a great job."
"His contributions have been fundamental," he added.
"With Alonso there has been a big reevaluation of the contribution from a driver in respect to the car, seeing that the Red Bull is the strongest single seater. That's the difference betwen a champion and a normal driver."
