Tiago Monteiro donates gloves

Tiago Monteiro donated his Formula One driving gloves to the voluntary firemen of Albergaria-a-Velha on Saturday January 14, at the end of a visit where he paid his respects to his maternal grandfather, Sérgio Reis da Costa, who was Commander of a fire squad.

By this strong symbolic gesture, Tiago Monteiro made a point of honouring the courage and dedication of all the Portuguese firemen, who played a very vital role over the past few years when fires devastated the country and saw the tragic loss of several voluntary firemen.
