Barrichello wants Honda domination
Rubens Barrichello believes he can help Honda become a Formula One force after an encouraging test this week. The Brazilian is settling into life at Honda after finally being allowed to switch from Ferrari this month, and he tested for the second successive week.
Barrichello and new team-mate Jenson Button were second and third fastest at Jerez, beaten only by Williams rookie Nico Rosberg. The Brazilian is pleased with his limited experience of the interim Honda and hopes his experience of a world championship-winning Ferrari can help development of the 2006 car.
Rubens Barrichello "I am continuing to learn with every day that I spend with the team and am very happy with the progress that we have made over the last two weeks. Even though we started quite late, we have still been able to do many laps this afternoon and have seen some good results. I hope that my input helps the team continue this development and progress further when we have the new car available next week."
