Raikkonen debuts for Renault in Valencia
In preparation for his return to Formula One, Kimi Raikkonen had the Valencia circit to himself as he lapped in an Renault R30 from 2010. And although no official lap times have been shared, the Finns focus was to acclimatize himself to an F1 car before new car testing commences next month in Jerez.
Raikkonen shared with SKY Sports, "It was nice to get back in the car. It was quite a few years since I have driven last time, [and] of course it takes a little while to get used to it. But the main driving, braking, turning, that doesn't take many laps. But of course to start learning about the car and team and tyres, that will take time."
