Button fastest on 2 day
The weather conditions were cold and sunny in Barcelona today for the second day of the Honda Racing F1 Team’s test in Barcelona.Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello are continuing the test programme in chassis RA106-02 and chassis RA106-04 respectively.
Jenson ran through a tyre programme alongside an aero evaluation in the morning completing 49 laps. Rubens continued to work on chassis set-up, followed by an aero programme, totalling 48 laps in the morning session.
Jenson spent the afternoon session completing a tyre evaluation, alongside a brake evaluation. He completed a further 67 laps in the session taking his final lap tally to 116 laps and setting the fastest time of the day – a 01:13.920.
Rubens also ran through a tyre evaluation programme, completing 70 laps in the afternoon for a total today of 118 laps.
Anthony Davidson will take over in chassis RA106-02 tomorrow with Rubens continuing in chassis RA106-04.
