Official statement from Schumacher’s family

Michael Schumacher’s family is still stunned by the sheer amount of sympathies it receives and thanked for the continuous support while it keeps supporting Michael in his hardest battle of his life.

While the seven-time world champion is still recovering from severe head injuries during a ski tour last December, a new website has been launched on 13 November. It marks the twentieth anniversary of the very first win of the record champion.

The family also thanked for the continuous touching support of the whole world.

“We are still being given get well wishes for Michael on a daily basis and the extent of the interest still makes us speechless. We can only thank you for facing this fight together. We remain confident and hope the best for Michael. Your strength is helping us to keep supporting him in his fight.

Schumacher is reported to be making progress steadily day by day with the help of a team which consists of about 12 people. However the German is said not to be able to speak or walk on his own.
