'The excitement of a new team' - JV

After the free practice sessions, Jacques Villeneuve is determined to secure a good result in tomorrow's Bahrain Grand Prix. The Canadian describes the atmosphere in the BMW Sauber F1 Team as very good.

Things will get serious for Nick Heidfeld and Jacques Villeneuve this afternoon. In the qualifying session, the BMW Sauber F1 Team drivers will have to give their very best in order to secure good positions on the grid for the race at the 'Bahrain International circuit'.

"If we work well then we should be able to go home with points and that is the right place to start," says Jacques Villeneuve. "If you can start the first few races with points then you have something to work on, you keep the people in the team excited and you maintain a good attitude."

Irrespective of the result secured in tomorrow's Grand Prix, the entire BMW Sauber F1 Team is looking forward to what the season may bring. All the teams members are motivated and prepared to work hard to achieve good results. "There is the excitement of a new team, the excitement of something new wanting to perform, and that makes people want to work twice as hard and twice as well," adds Jacques. "So I hope that continues, and for that we need to start the season with some points."
