BMW Sauber F1 Team test driver Robert Kubica eagerly looks forward to the Malaysian Grand Prix. Once again, the Pole is to support the team in the Friday free practice sessions, with the Sepang circuit representing virgin soil for him.

Over the course of his motor racing career thus far, Robert has had the opportunity of visiting the majority of the circuits that form the Grand Prix calendar. The 'Sepang International Ciruit', however is a new venue for the 21-year old. "Sepang is another circuit I don't yet know, but after the positive experiences in Bahrain I hope I'll have this race track sussed just as quickly," says Robert Kubica.

In his first appearance in Bahrain, the young gun delivered in fine style and even set the fastest lap time in the first free practice session. Now he is determined to make a contribution to the BMW Sauber F1 Team's success in Malaysia. "The Bahrain race weekend has demonstrated very clearly that it is important to gather extensive data on the Friday. Quite obviously, it's my goal to support the team as well as I can and it will be important for me to clock up plenty of laps and run through the planned schedule completely," he says.

When it comes to Malaysia's special weather conditions, with its extreme humidity and heat, Robert comments, "I have never driven in such an extremem climat as Malaysia, and so I will also gain valuable experience in that respect."
