Formula 1 has announced that Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, will once again renew as the title partner of the Bahrain Grand Prix between 2025 and 2027 (inclusive).

The Bahrain Grand Prix became the first Formula 1 race ever held in the Middle East as it took place on 4 April 2004 in the heart of the Arabian desert. Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has held the prestigious role of title partner ever since the first race in Bahrain, 21 years ago – the longest of any partner.

This year, the Bahrain Grand Prix will be staged between 11- 13 April, after Ramadan, which is expected to take place between 1-31 March.

Commenting on the extended partnership, Formula One's Chief Commercial Officer Emily Prazer stated: “Gulf Air's enduring commitment to the Bahrain Grand Prix is a testament to the power of long- term partnerships in motorsport.

"Their support, spanning over two decades, has been instrumental in establishing this race as a favourite in the Formula 1 calendar, which attracts fans from all over the world to a weekend of great racing and top entertainment. We are thrilled to continue this collaboration and look forward to more thrilling racing and shared success in Bahrain."

In previous years, the Bahrain Grand Prix saw several sensational on-track battles, including the one between Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and four-time F1 champion Max Verstappen in 2024. In addition, the race also offers a vibrant festival atmosphere, featuring world-class
entertainment, gourmet dining experiences, and a unique blend of Bahraini culture and international flair.

Reflecting on the announcement, Jeffrey Goh, who serves as Gulf Air Group's Chief Executive Officer, said: "We are immensely proud to extend our partnership with Formula 1, a relationship that has become synonymous with the Bahrain Grand Prix.

"This collaboration not only reinforces Bahrain's prominent position on the international motorsport stage but also serves as a powerful catalyst for economic growth, tourism development, and global brand recognition for the Kingdom."
