Ferrari working at Fiorano and Le Castellet
Second day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, again working on two fronts, at Fiorano and Le Castellet. The rain which fell in the afternoon on both the Italian and French circuits, hindered the Scuderia's progress. At Fiorano, Felipe Massa, who had a programme based on testing new components and elctronics, covered a total of 61 laps (six on the short version of the course,) setting a best time of 57"134.
At Le Castellet, Michael Schumacher who had the task of continuing with the Bridgestone tyre development programme that Luca Badoer had begun yesterday, completed 125 laps of the 3E-SC version of the French track, the quickest in a time of 58"287.
The Scuderia continues testing tomorrow, again with Massa at Fiorano and Schumacher at Le Castellet.
