Intensive test for BAR completed

While BAR is hoping for reliability in the coming weekend at the Nurburgring, the Brackley based team completed a succesful three day-test in which they drove a total of more than 350 laps. Both official drivers and Takuma Sato helped the team, while Anthony Davidson had to rest because of a heavy crash in this week's race at Le Mans.Shuhei Nakamoto, Engineering Director at Honda Racing Development, commented: “The latest development on the engine has run well, so we have had a productive test this week. It has been useful to get feedback from all three drivers.”Although the main test programme is now complete, Takuma Sato will rejoin the team at Silverstone tomorrow morning to conduct some straight-line work.
