DuPont, new Promotional Supplier to BMW Sauber F1 Team

The BMW Sauber F1 Team has a new Promotional Supplier: DuPont, based in Wilmington (Delaware, USA) and with its European headquarters in Geneva, will supply the team with innovative paints and coatings for its racing cars as well as trucks and motor homes.

When it comes to Formula One cars, paint finishes and coatings are of particular relevance. Important criteria are low weight combined with optimum thickness, thermal stability, resistance to mechanical stresses such as stone chips, and colour brilliance suitable for television broadcasts.

BMW and DuPont already cooperate in the aftermarket sector for series-production vehicles and this will strengthen their future cooperation.
