Ferrari and McLaren interested in Symonds
Renaults Executive Director of Engineering, Pat Symonds has been offered a deal with the Scuderia Ferrari. This was whispered in the F1 world. Not only Ferrari, but apparently also McLaren Mercedes would have shown interest in Symonds. It remains to be seen if the rumours are true and if Symonds wants to leave Renault F1 as he did not leave in 1997 when Brawn and Byrne jumped ship to Ferrari.
