Renovation costs at Francorchamps higher than expected
The costs to the Circuit of Francorchamps will be €23,3 million, the Walloon minister Michel Daerden declared this today. The total costs are higher than the expected 19,7 milion. Earlier reports said that the renovation of the circuit already started, but the Walloon government still has to indicate a contracter.
In the meantime the negotiations between the Walloon government and F1 supremo, Bernie Ecclestone, still continue. The Walloon government has send a last letter to Ecclestone and expects an answer before Monday.
