Our Championship ends with the last meter of the Brazilian GP - di Montezemolo

At the end of the Japanese GP Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo gave a declaration which stated that even with the bitterness of the unlucky ending of the race he is very attached to the members of the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro and appreciates the work the team and the drivers have done.

I'm sorry for him who once again had a fantastic race, showing that he is not only the best but also an extraordinary man. I'm very sorry for the team that didn't commit any error. At the beginning of the season I said that I wanted a Ferrari to be protagonist. I am very proud of the incredible way the gap has been closed over the last months, with an effort from all our men and our partners beyond compare. Unfortunately today, this work was halted which penalized us deeply. Ferrari knows how to accept being defeated just as they know how to celebrate victory.
