Symonds gets less responsibilities

Due to restructering of the team, Pat Symonds, the Executive Director of Engineering of the Renault F1 Team, will be less involved during the Grand Prix' weekends. Symonds will still be present during every race and will take important decisions during the weekend, but will no longer carry the big responsibility he had during the last seasons. Alan Permane, Giancarlo Fisichella's race engineer, will take over from Symonds.
