Engine problem for Barrichello as Button joins the action

The Honda Racing F1 Team continued its testing programme at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia today. Rubens Barrichello began the day with some early set-up work whilst the circuit cleaned up. Unfortunately on his first full run, the engine expired stopping the car out on the circuit. With a fresh engine fitted, Rubens completed an aero evaluation covering 35 laps during the morning session.

Jenson Button joined the team in Sepang this afternoon to take over the test programme from Rubens for the remainder of the test. He completed a couple of runs to acclimatise himself with the circuit and conditions before working through a chassis set-up evaluation completing 24 laps.

Jenson will complete the final day of testing tomorrow.
