The BMW Sauber F1 Team has been able to impress with good results in the first three races of the season and is currently the third strongest team in the World Championship. Peter Sauber regards the results so far as proof for the good team spirit.

Following the end of the first overseas block in the Formula One season, the BMW Sauber F1 Team is able to look back on positive results. Third place in the Constructors' Championship is more than fans and experts would have expected. "It confirms that we are committed to the right philosophy," commented Peter Sauber on the start of the 2007 season. "It is not the big individual names that guarantee success but a perfectly working team of real racers. This applies to the team at the race track as well as the employees in the factory building the chassis, the engine and the drive train."

Sauber is also full of special praise for Nick Heidfeld, who has achieved three consecutive fourth-place finishes. "This is the best Nick that I have ever seen," says Sauber. "His technical understanding has always been very good, and he hardly ever made mistakes. But now he is showing that extra little bit of positive aggression that makes the difference."
