Valencia deal set to be signed after re-election local government

It appears that the European Grand Prix at Valencia will be part of next year's Formula One calendar. Formula One supremo, Bernie Ecclestone, earlier this month announced a seven-year deal from 2008 but the deal would only be valid if the current president of Valencia's local government, Francisco Camps, would be re-elected. Yesterday, the current government was re-elected, which should result in a signing of the deal in the following weeks.
