The team always decides when I have to get moving - Alonso
Fernando Alonso will start tomorrow's Hungarian Grand Prix from pole position. This happened after Championship leader and McLaren team mate Lewis Hamilton wasn't able to complete his last run after he had been held up in the pitlane by Fernando Alonso who was in the pits only seconds before the Briton. According to Alonso, the team was to blame for the delay in the pitlane.
Alonso declared to the Spanish press: "The team always decides when I have to get moving. I know it looks that way because he lost the opportunity to do his lap, but even if I had left those five seconds earlier he wouldn't have made it anyway. I think the calculations were wrong. I'm sorry for him but I leave the pits when I'm told to."
As Lewis Hamilton missed out on pole position, Ron Dennis seemed furious. He threw away his headset and waited on his drivers by the weight bridge.
