I'm expecting a difficult race - Fisico
The Italian ING Renault F1 Team driver, Giancarlo Fisichella, gives some explanations about his qualifying and his expectations for the race. The Roman will start this afternoon's Turkish Grand Prix from 10th position on the grid.
"Unfortunately, there’s not a lot to be said about my qualifying. I was fighting with the car as it was suffering from a lot of understeer. Its balance was inconsistent and was upset by the wind. If you look at Heikki’s time, it shows where we stand in the championship: just behind the top three teams."
How do you see tomorrow’s race?"Conditions will be difficult for the grand prix. It’s going to be very hot and that’s always tough on engines and above all on the drivers! It’ll be a difficult race and we’ll have to take maximum advantage of one of our strong points: our start. When the lights go out I’ll have to get past two cars to have any chance of scoring points tomorrow, which is my aim."
