Hamilton wants to keep his trophies
McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton has asked his bosses to let him keep his winning trophies. Under contract terms that McLaren has with all its drivers, the Woking-based outfit keeps all the drivers' trophies to display in a cabinet at the team's headquarters.
Hamilton, who can win the drivers' title this weekend at Shanghai, said to the British newspaper 'The Mirror': "I want to keep my first win trophy and that of my first world championship. Don't underestimate how much it means to me."
