McLaren set to launch appeal against decision stewards
The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Team has notified the FIA that they have the intention to appeal the stewards' decisions not to penalise BMW Sauber and Williams for the fuel temperature discrepancy during the Brazilian Grand Prix.
McLaren's decision to appeal, leaves the results of the drivers' world championship in a state of uncertainty. If the International Court of Appeal overturns the stewards' decision and disqualifies the Williams and BMW Sauber drivers, then McLaren's Lewis Hamilton will be elevated to fourth and he will win the Championship title.
