Force India to announce driver line-up after Jerez test
It is a busy first test for the newly renemed Force India F1 Team as they have several drivers testing at Barcelona for the team. Adrian Sutil, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Christian Klien, Roldan Rodriguez and Giedo van der Garde all came in action for the Force India during the past two days. But according to Colin Kolles, the team will only decide on their driver line-up after the test session at Jerez. It is rumoured that Ralf Schumacher and Giancarlo Fisichella will than come in action for the first Indian F1 team.
Colin Kolles told our colleagues of GPUpdate.net: "We are looking for the best option for next year. Everybody has equal chances and gets a fair test. The team has to make the right decision for the future, to make next season more successful. We will test in Jerez, but we can't make any announcements yet about the drivers that will be testing with us in Jerez. After Jerez though we will make a decision and confirm our driver line-up.
"We plan to make quick decisions, so we know in which direction we should move. It's better to have the driver line-up in an early stage and not in March for example. I don't know if it will be two or three weeks after Jerez, but it will be after the test and as soon as possible."
