Wilson pushing Pizzonia out of F1?
Jaguar Racing have announced that Justin Wilson will replace Antonio Pizzonia with immediate effect. Wilson will contest in all the remaining GP's this season. An agreement has been reached for the remainder of the 2003 season only, with options for future years that provide Jaguar Racing with additional choices for 2004.A shocked Antonio Pizzonia already rejected a replacement offer from Jaguar.
He was given the opportunity for testing and reserve driver in the team.
"The sudden decision came as a complete shock to me," the Brazilian said after Justin Wilson replaced him on Monday.
"Jaguar have offered me a testing and reserve driver role, but I have declined," he added. "I will now reflect upon what has happened and decide what the best course of action will be."
22-year-old Pizzonia added that he aims to stay in Formula One.
