We intend scoring our first GP victory - Theissen
The new year has just started, but the Formula One teams have been working towards the 2008 season for quite some time. On 14 January, the BMW Sauber F1 Team will unveil their new car, the F1.08, but the team has also set two important goals for the new season: closing in on the leading teams and scoring their first GP victory.
BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen said: "For 2008, we have set ourselves the target of closing the gap to the leading teams; in addition, we intend scoring our first Grand Prix victory."
In 2007, the BMW Sauber F1 Team finished second in the Constructors' Championship with 101 points.
