Can Singapore handle the pressure to organise a night race?
Today, tickets for the first night race, the Singapore Grand Prix, went on sale. It appears that the organisers didn't anticipated on this much demand for tickets. Customers trying to buy tickets online, through call centres or a booth, experienced huge delays due to "an extraordinarily high volume of system traffic both locally and internationally."
Due to these delays, a lot of the F1 fans trying to buy a ticket believe that Singapore isn't ready for the overload of attention organising a night race brings with it.
