Ronnie Peterson musuem to be opened next week
Thirty years after his death, Ronnie Peterson gets his own museum. The 'Ronnie Peterson museum' will be opened 31 May in his home town Örebro, Sweden. Peterson enjoyed his Formula One debut back in 1973 at the French Grand Prix in a Lotus 72. He claimed three race wins in his debut season.
In 1978, Peterson died after a horrible accident during the Italian Grand Prix as his car collided with several other drivers.
In the museum, a number of interesting items of the Formula One driver can be admired such as his Lotus 72, used in the 1975 season.
