Hulkenberg at the wheel for Williams
Williams' test driver, Nico Hulkenberg, made a return to the cockpit today for the start of a four day test in Jerez this week. At the 4.428km southern Spanish track, and under extremely hot conditions which saw temperatures reach the mid-thirties, Nico Hulkenberg spent the day setting up the FW30 ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Nico set the fourth fastest time of the day with a 1:20.953 among a field of eight teams.
Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager, Williams F1: "Nico Hulkenberg drove the car today and concentrated on general set-ups. Our running was cut short by a technical problem later on in the afternoon, but we fortunately didn’t lose too much time. Nico Rosberg joins us tomorrow for day two"
