Williams.. did anyone see when Russell out muscled Lattifi for those positions?! I didn't quite see it, but I think Russell and Latiffi won't be friends after this!
If I am not mistaken, Latiffi did his pit stop just before the SC, and Russell pitted during the SC, this is how Russell got infront.

Shame you waste so much time talking drivel
Well looks like you were the one talking drivel based on the steward's statement. Which was clear to see for anyone who is not new to F1. It was max fans opinion lewis feared max and botched the start at the sprint race. Now we get a botch start from P1 on the clean side of the track. Does not the same logic apply?

Anyhow see you in Russia!
And to Max.. dont change a thing about your driving style. Keep on bucking on!
Soon redbull will be out of engines!

I am sure that engine or gearbox is damaged.
Ah yes! Another lovely piece of symmetry!
After Silverstone, anyone trying to blame on Verstappen was shut down with "Well, the Stewards decided who was to blame!". And here we go, same persons now using the same reasoning in their favor.

It reminds me of Dark. Two parallel worlds, exact mirrors, and everything just goes round and round and round.

Justice is served, though only a slim morsel of it. Lewis is sore, but thank God there is no broken bone. He says he is blessed and I agree, could have missed a couple races like Mark Webber for a sore neck. Outside of that, this wasn't a good performance by him.

Anyway, never got to say congrats to Mclaren. I am quite chuffed for Daniel on his first win outside of RedBull. Norris was a bit forward in asking to switch places wasnt he? And today I fully realise that this Lando boy, he plays little tricks with the rules quite a lot. A sneaky one.

Ferrari.. just lacking that engine power. I think they should have gone lighter on the downforce here. decent performance by both drivers none the less.

Williams.. did anyone see when Russell out muscled Lattifi for those positions?! I didn't quite see it, but I think Russell and Latiffi won't be friends after this!

Poor Vettel was outmuscled by Lance too. Not to mention the younger drivers were bullying him all over the place. I was wondering what did he do to deserve it. Didn't even get any attention by the stewards.
Lando didn’t ask too be switched, he asked if he could engage, and to be honest, if Bottas would of passed Perez I think he would have been all over the back of Lando, so I can see why he asked too, that, and the fact he is a racer

Not even sure what you’re on about.
I said a racing incident all day long. Predominantly to blame, I’d say Max.

Penalty incurred? About right.

Should he have been concerned about Lewis’s health as he was trying to reverse out? No

Was Max’s radio message unnecessary and childish? Yes

Did Lewis make lots of mistakes this GP (both in quali/sprint/race to put him in a position where he shouldn’t have been? Absolutely

Am I glad everyone is okay? Yes

We move on

They should have swapped Lando and Daniel. If Max/Lewis keep up their shenanigans', the WDC is ripe to be picked by a 3rd placed driver.

Thing is it’s still a Verstappen win. Mercedes we’re probably favourites in Russia anyway.
Now if this penalty was on a later track? Different story.

That covers it beautifully I think, although I am a bit more reluctant regarding the penalty - in Silverstone, the penalty was in place because one driver crashed and the other did not. Here, both were punished with their DNF. No need to carry it over to the next race. (edit: ok, Max would have done better asking for Lewis being OK too, overlooked that in the above)

And to add, Max/RB equally made mistakes. Had they had a proper start and/or pitstop, this whole situation would not have occurred.

Despite the imo out of proportion penalty in comparison with Silverstone, Red Bull had it coming somehow. Why didn’t they do the undercut on Ricciardo? Did they underestimate the lap time advantage of a fresh set?

I disagree with the stewards penalty. But i agree with their description of the incident.
The penalty should be heavier.
The silverstone incident was not reasonably judged regarding apex.
I this case braking late on the outside of a chicane is not the racing line and thar is clear.
Driving from the outside of a chicane alone the curb is neither a racing or anyway to make a chicane as the car is point perpendicular to where it should be on exit.
Silverstone, Hamilton could have made that corner and has made that corner with 2 cars as he demonstrated when passing leclerc.
In monza it has been demonstrated many times what Vexstappen was doing will result in wing damage, wheel rubs, or in the even there is no contact the outside car must bounce over the curbs.
So in these two case we see where one approach was speculation from stewards as cars have passed going into stowe and one was clear as day resulting in contact as it has been at the Monza race every year.
For Sure!!

They tried to overcut him and messed up the pitstop completely...

Other observations:
Giovinazi could have had a good result here if he drove straight on.
Vettel was a punching bag.
Poor result for torro rosso.
Strong pace from ferrari. I think they can challenge next year for the title.

I am patiently waiting to hear about redbull engine damage from Max's crash.
Who will they blame for the damages from this 1g accident?
For Sure!!
