First race thread I've ever seen with 12 pages after qualifying.....

Says a lot about the current state of F1 :(
Lmao and how would you assess the ‘current state of f1’?

Yesterday was sh*t because of red flags and the fact this weekend is a sprint weekend. I expect there to be a similar amount of pages after todays sprint, which is equivalent to the usual Saturday qualifying. Currently we’ve had as much of the weekend as we usually would have after FP1 and FP2. By that measure, 12 pages is a lot for just FP1 and FP2.

But the amount of pages in a thread of f1 technical as a measure of the ‘state of f1’ is a weird choice, imho.

I guess you support a team that was winning before and now a mid field team :D . Red flag etc made yesterday a dull session.

There was no DRS hence it was more visible on main straight.

During the sprint weekend are they allowed to make PU mode/ setup changes after the qualifying session?

no, only in the same way as on normal weekends.

Let's hope FP2 will give a bit of an indication what to expect for the race, but going by last year, some will practice the race, some the sprint, and others something in between. WIll likely be difficult to get a read on fuel loads, and therefor also pace difference

It says nothing because qualifying was on a Friday when people are at work.

Are teams allowed to make set up modifications on cars between now and FP2?

Or they must have the exact same settings that after qualy? (for the race tomorrow).
Only front wing angle and tyre pressure can be adjusted.

Is 12 pages good or bad, I don't get it? :)

F1 seems to be in a good state, at least they are not racing in Saudi Arabia this time, but rather at the lovely classic Imola circuit! =D>

no, technical problems at McLaren and Bottas, but that's about it. Otherwise just lots of longruns with very different but unknown fuel loads. No tyre wear at all

yeah, not sure what to make of this. Russell did two superb laps, and then a 2s slower longrun on the same stint, without topping up fuel in between.

Perez looked very quick and steady though. But from what it looked like on the onboards of cars following others, overtaking will still be very, very difficult

The Merc's aero oscillations seemed improved today over yesterday. It looked violent on parts of the track yesterday. Not sure as to how fuel load impacts such...nor what the corresponding fills even were. Rus??? I initially Thought Rus was on light fuel...but now not sure.
