Will Alonso drive ultra aggressively in T1? Verstappen is fighting for the championship, he has to calculate - A P2 is better than DNF. Fernando is an intelligent driver, he knows about it
Alonso is a wily old fox and knows what's what. I think he will have little to do with Max and get on with his own race.
The likelihood of him winning is small so he will go for the podium and hope something turns up.
The two cars that will have little trouble passing him are the Ferrari and RBR, so it is not worth his effort burning his own resources fighting them when he can run his race and hope one or both of them are not there at the finish.
The days when he was a young buck and went for glory at any cost are gone, he will take percentage now.
(which does not mean he will not knee them in the nuts if he gets a chance)
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.
