leclerc forced sainz to brake or to go outside the track. thats not legal by 2022 rules.
see if this continues .... there is only one winner - Sainz.
Tell me then, what would you do if you were Carlos Sainz?Shal_Leg16 wrote: ↑09 Jul 2022, 17:32see if this continues .... there is only one winner - Sainz.
and thats not because he is any better then Charles but because he is the only one getting near his target.
there are 3 parties here. Ferrari, Charles & Sainz . all 3 have their respective tragets . Ferrari wants to win title, Leclerc wants to win title, Sainz ? from what it looks like all he wants is match his team mate , so if this is how it continues or should i say " Ferrari lets this continue " 2 of the 3 are gonna lose at the end and we all know who.
Well, Leclerc is doing considerably better in races as well. Its a bit hard to extend your lead when team takes wins of from you (Monaco and Silverstone) and you lose from lead twice duo to DMF.Steven wrote: ↑09 Jul 2022, 18:01Tell me then, what would you do if you were Carlos Sainz?Shal_Leg16 wrote: ↑09 Jul 2022, 17:32see if this continues .... there is only one winner - Sainz.

And why do you suggest he doesn't aim for the championship?
Sainz is doing a pretty good job. If they are free to fight, then he can attack if he thinks he can pass. Why not?
And also, Sainz is in a pretty good position in the championship so there is no reason for Ferrari to choose one driver over the other. On what basis? Yes Leclerc is better in quali so far, but no points are awarded for that.
Those two drivers are fighting for their spot, knowing it might be tight throughout the season.
first of all...there is enough proof till now to conclude " Who is Fatser and better "Steven wrote: ↑09 Jul 2022, 18:01Tell me then, what would you do if you were Carlos Sainz?Shal_Leg16 wrote: ↑09 Jul 2022, 17:32see if this continues .... there is only one winner - Sainz.

The main point of their argument comes from a thought that...Sainz is as good as Leclerc.ferkan wrote: ↑09 Jul 2022, 18:43Well, Leclerc is doing considerably better in races as well. Sainz wants to prove he is not a number two driver, and since Ferrari have (apparently) not told him he is employed as the number two driver shouldn't he thus be entitled to try to prove that?Shal_Leg16 wrote: ↑09 Jul 2022, 17:12its already brocken. its not just lasy weekend. its obvious as day and night , main target Sainz has is beating Leclerc , Charles would be a brianless zombie to not understand or feel it. this wont last long.
Ferrari operated with equal number one drivers in 2007 and 2008, one of their equal lead drivers won a title by 1 point, the other lost one by 1 point.
disagree with the last line, imo ferrari need Leclerc more not the other way around. if tomorrow leclerc throws his toys...imo Mercedes will be more than willing to take him. But Ferrari have limited options. With guys like sainz they will never ever never win a title. obviously im not saying it will destroy the company but imo very limited drivers have that champion caliber in themJordanMugen wrote: ↑09 Jul 2022, 19:04Sainz wants to prove he is not a number two driver, and since Ferrari have (apparently) not told him he is employed as the number two driver shouldn't he thus be entitled to try to prove that?Shal_Leg16 wrote: ↑09 Jul 2022, 17:12its already brocken. its not just lasy weekend. its obvious as day and night , main target Sainz has is beating Leclerc , Charles would be a brianless zombie to not understand or feel it. this wont last long.
Obviously for Leclerc this is a disadvantage compared to Verstappen where Perez is well aware he is employed as the number two driver and literally gets out of the throttle to avoid overtaking Verstappen!
If Ferrari want Sainz to defer to Leclerc at all times with a clear number two position they need to tell him that, but it doesn't seem like Ferrari have told Sainz that at all. They even accept Sainz's overrules on strategy and rejecting team orders (so quite the contrary).
Some may view this lack of Leclerc priority as foolish and unhelpful to Leclerc's WDC ambitions which Ferrari presumably support, but it what it is, Ferrari is more important the star driver after all (hence Binotto's finger waving at Leclerc!).
dude that was a fluke, dont make an exception a general rule.JordanMugen wrote: ↑09 Jul 2022, 19:18Ferrari operated with equal number one drivers in 2007 and 2008, one of their equal lead drivers won a title by 1 point, the other lost one by 1 point.
