Seems like Verstappen starts with softs. Interesting if they can manage a soft-medium

The tyres on at the moment aren't his starting tyres. They're a used set of softs just to go to the grid with. It's when they take the blankets off just before the formation lap that we know what they are really starting on. Regardless, it's expected Max will start on softs. Pirelli says Soft-> Hard and Soft->Medium are possible and RB seems to have the most downforce of any car this weekend so they might be able to make the latter work well

As said many times before - quite often you see slower teams letting faster ones through without much of a fight; why waste time on a fight that you will lose anyway.

Well, to be fair, the argument that was held in the Zandvoort thread was in response to claims that the RB18 was dominant for the entire season so far - the outcome here doesn't affect that.
Whether or not the RB18 is the faster car at this stage is another argument - and whether it's a dominant car is another discussion still.

Redbull could have poled easily but decided the run higher wing instead. I think at this stage they are just playing around and trying stuff.
They will win with Max. He will clear up to Georg by lap 10.
George does have a chance of winning if Max get knocked out of the race.
I am not vrry confident in Ferrari for some reason. I just see it hard for Leclerc to win.

Lewis and Sainz may try something different but only a safety car can help them.
