So what did Vettel do? I saw him being stupidly blocked by Stroll in 13th place. But the next I saw him he was three places in front of Stroll.
It wasn't shown on screen was it? The were probably focusing on non-events in the front.
The answer my friend was blowing in the grass...
which by the way is more exciting when on a bike re Randy Mamola at Brands in the TransAtlantic series circa 1980

It's completely insanity that they tried to move the Brazilian GP to Rio. Interlagos is one of F1's treasures. It is to be preserved at the expense of profits.
Brazil however is the most wretched place, where even drivers' safety is not guaranteed. They should have boycotted the country altogether. You hear about kidnap attempts and such pretty much every year. Also, what makes you think that they would have built a worse one in Rio?
You are both right (IMHO)
Great track (except for the pit exit/entrance)
Remember when Jenson Button (a lot of exciting things happen to him re theft incident in the villa) got held up (not delayed) at the lights

Because there was only 1 FP, Max didn't get the set-up right. Very high tire wear, forcing him to make 2 pit stops. Mercedes only needs 1 pit stop, so that will be a 1-2 for Mercedes.
I'm not so sure a one-stopper is the quickest way to finish this race. It may change a bit with higher track temperatures today, but so far both the medium as well as the hard tyre looks slow. I'd expect everyone to run as much on the softs as possible, even if it comes with an additional stop

Perez must like being done dirty by his own team. Ooft.
Hey, a troll ...
I'm sorry how is it trolling to comment on RBR doing not all they can to secure 2nd place for Perez? Would you like me to cite my statement with all the instances this year where Marko has publicly negatively called out Perez?

Fact is, RBR could have let Perez get extra points today and still allowed Verstappen to go for a win today without detriment to Perez.

Your bias is extraordinary. It might as well be found in the comments of twitter posts.
Which bit is wrong about preferring track position? This has been the view of the team for years.
That was then and this is now. Do you think they might have noticed that these cars follow more easily and passing is much more possible?
They still do. Hungary from this year. George only got a tyre change because he begged them left right and centre for the right tyre choice - the soft

What can Red Bull change to the car after the sprint?

* Front wing angle
* Gurney flaps
* Tire pressures

Anything else?

With their car, I would break the parc-ferme and start from the back. By lap 15 Max would be in top 6 easily. Then go on to catch and beat the leaders.

Only if they know what the issue is and are very confident that their solution will work.

I see absolutely zero chance for that to happen, thh.

Any word on Ocon yet, by the way? I guess he may need to start from pit lane indeed?! Or was there less damage than you would expect when a car goes up in flames?

Hards were always complained, recently in Mexico. S-M-M would be better I think.

Was thinking along the lines for Max and Red Bull. given the extra soft today.

I dont think the mediums will work today for him given the state of the front right tyre at the end of the race.

it's from the F1.com website: https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/arti ... THvdr.html

But the tyre list isn't 100% correct, as far as I can see. Not that it really makes a difference, but Mercedes for example had three sets of new Mediums before FP2 (as confirmed by Pirelli), and didn't use any mediums yesterday. So where is that used set supposed to come from?

I think soft-medium-soft is the right way to go but let's see
